The database cannot be reached

The application started, but the first query failed. That is usually a DATABASE_URL that is wrong or missing, a Supabase project that is paused, or a schema that has never been migrated.

This screen exists because the alternative was Next.js’s “Application error: a server-side exception has occurred” and a digest number. The server knew exactly what was wrong; the screen did not say.
